The QNAP TS-459PRO 4-bay, TS-659PRO 6-bay and TS-859PRO 8-bay are all featured in the QNAP Atom NAS throwdown. All systems feature the Intel Atom D510 1.66GHz Dual Core Processor at its core and with the same installed memory, features as well as specifications, bare the number of bays in each system. This review highlights some of the salient features that are incorporated in the entire TS-x59 PRO NAS series, as well as detailing the backup options that are critical for achieving redundancy. QNAP has evolved and it remains for us to see if the NAS systems are keeping pace with the changing wind.

The QNAP TS-809PRO has a strong reputation for being a powerful workhorse. We were requested to take it for a spin and try for ourselves; we wasted no time in doing so. The QNAP TS-809PRO arrived in our labs ready for the grueling challenge to beat the clock and surge ahead in our labs as a clear winner.
